Growing with the dynamic changing veterinary industry in China, Shanghai Pharmtech was founded as a comprehensive veterinary products producer and supplier by the investment of Sinopharm International in 2002. Based on state-of-art GMP manufacturing facilities and excellent technical support for both domestic and international customers, Shanghai Pharmtech aims to be one leading player in providing services in veterinary API & formulation developing, manufacturing, contract R&D and manufacturing (OEM), domestic & overseas registration, pre-clinical test and regulatory affairs support.
Besides focusing on developing veterinary generic APIs which patent just expired or will expire, Shanghai Pharmtech also started to develop the formulation for cattle, sheep, pig, poultry and companion animals through jointly working with international and domestic R&D organizations. Located in Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, the Chinese famous drug valley, the significant advantages of R&D platform and facilities make us more convenient in contract development and manufacturing for customers.
Up to end of 2007, we have established business relationship and cooperation with many multinational companies and regional outstanding companies, most of which are famous in the animal health industry. • Fipronil was successfully synthesized via patent non-infringed process, and its EDMF is estimated to be available in the end of 2009
• We are now ready to commercialize the production of Cypermethrin, Deltamethrin and Imidacloprid as veterinary use APIs.
• The first lot of contracted-developing veterinary formulations were successfully transferred to our overseas customers.
